I would like to remind those of you that maintain a presence on the popular social networking websites MySpace and FaceBook that the use of any image from Interstate275Florida.com and/or my sister site EdwardRingwald.com on your MySpace page is prohibited.  This includes not only copying the image but also hotlinking the image as a background image.

For your protection, all images are watermarked with a copyright notice to deter unauthorized use.  In addition, all right clicking here at Interstate275Florida.com as well as EdwardRingwald.com is disabled to help deter unauthorized hotlinking and use.

Except for information collected in our Contact Us page no personally identifiable information is collected from visitors to our web site.  However, in our Contact Us page there are fields provided for your name and email address.  Providing your name and email address to us on our Contact Us page is completely optional; however, it is requested if in the event you desire a response from us.  Names and email addresses provided on our Contact Us page will only be used for the sole purpose of replying to you and will be held in the strictest form of confidence.  Moreover, names and email addresses submitted on our Contact Us page will never be rented nor sold to a third party.  Besides, collecting information such as an email address then aggregating and selling it to a third party is not good business practice.

  Safety on the Interstate

Recently there was a guestbook entry at our sister website EdwardRingwald.com (which was unfortunately deleted and the user's IP address blocked due to the unsavory comments made) about the pictures that you see here at Interstate275Florida.com.

In order to satisfy everyone's concerns the following is offered:

1) All pictures are taken under safe driving conditions.  That means if there is extremely heavy traffic or road conditions are poor I wait until the conditions are favorable.  A good photo may have to wait a few days until the conditions are favorable.

2) There are many other interstate related sites out there and pictures are taken by their authors under safe driving conditions as well.

3)  Most importantly:  Taking a picture is not the same thing as talking on a cell phone while driving.  Granted, you still have to make sure that the road conditions are safe.

4) Speaking of cell phones and driving, your Webmaster at Interstate275Florida.com wholeheartedly supports laws enacted in an increasingly number of US states (and in most other countries around the world) that prohibit usage of cellular telephones as well as texting while driving except in emergencies.  Remember, that all-important conversation, business transaction or text can wait until you are stopped in a safe place.  Besides, that's why we have voice mail for cell phones!

5) When you approach a construction zone, whether it is Interstate 275 or any other interstate highway in the good old USA, please remember to reduce your speed and give your driving your 100 percent attention while you transit the construction zone.  Plan your travel time accordingly.
